It's my first time attending this kind of event. This time my aunt brought me to Santisukharama Hermitage Meditation Centre kota tinggi , 哥打丁宜寂乐苑禅修中心 a place hidden on top of high hills covered with forest of trees. No doubt, there are chances of getting bitten by mosquitoes!

I don't know for you guys but when I was young in elementary school, choosing religions is a default. Because I was too young to know what is religion, my family isn't a religious family though. So that 'how' I 'became' a Buddhist. Upon secondary school, kawan-kawan question my religion, because I have a Christian name. But then it was my parents who gave me my name, teehee. I explain : not all things are into religion, my name doesn't concern about religion and religion doesn't concern about my name. Religion is just a believe, kepercayaan.

Back to the story, I became helper at the centre. Help guide devotees. I reached there about 9a.m. before the Bathing of Bodhisattva ceremony. Devotees kneel down offer kowtow to the Bodhisattva, and then bath with lotus flower.

Later on, It's time for the Paritta Chanting by Ven. Jotinanda. Full of elder age devotees there sitting on mats and cushion to comfort themselves for the next 1 hour. I was literally taking a nap / half-sleeping when there's awfully silent. Saw my long-time-never-met friend there. Boon Yao, so tall and hairy legs. Don't know if he still recognise me? Also Xiang Bin, with his sister and brother.
Next, Lunch Dana session. I have nasi briyani and coconut pudding and lychee and watermelon for lunch. weet. finally! Then, went to old folks home for short trip. Because there is 5 old folks staying there currently.
